Trang Dang, a senior computer science major in the Ying Wu College of Computing, has been awarded the 2024 Anne Wiley Scholarship by NJIT’s Murray Center for Women in Technology. Spotifeel is a new computer program to help scientists evaluate the relationship between your mood and your playlist, developed by NJIT rising senior Rain Nutt for her undergraduate summer research. Existing efforts tend to evaluate all listeners by the same set of music, whether they like the songs or not, so Nutt decided to gauge them on their own choices.
