Tuchman School of Management MBA Program Ranked Among Best in U.S.
NJIT's Martin Tuchman School of Management offers one of the best MBA programs in the nation, according to a new ranking from Fortune.
Earning a master's of business administration degree at New Jersey Institute of Technology differs from the pack because of the university-wise focus on research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The school's biggest developments in 2021-2022 include the opening of the Paul V. Profeta Foundation Real Estate Technology, Design and Innovation Center, along with a leadership role in the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps Northeast Hub. Faculty and students work on everything from award-winning startup companies to community service to data science to space entrepreneurship.
MBAs are by far the most popular master’s degree in the U.S. and earning one can accelerate your career and pave the way to a high salary.
These developments and many more led to a recent reaccreditation. Management school Dean Oya Tukel said that in the last five years, 68% of faculty publications appeared in top business journals, there has been more than $3 million in grants and student enrollment is up 25%.
Fortune's ranking follows a similar placement on their 2021 list of best online MBA programs. That was just one of several accolades for virtual education during the COVID pandemic, which was a relatively easy shift here due to the university's longstanding technology bent, where online courses had been available before the public health crisis made them necessary.
In person or online, the Fortune editors stated, "MBAs are by far the most popular master’s degree in the U.S. and earning one can accelerate your career and pave the way to a high salary."
