Looking to reduce the stress that confronts people who videoconference too much — widely known as Zoom fatigue, following the work-from-home trend of the COVID pandemic — one expert from NJIT is working on new approaches to augmented and virtual reality systems.

NJIT President Dr. Joel Bloom and the Board of Trustees recognized two programs Thursday, Sept. 23, inside the Campus Center. NJIT's baseball team had a historic 2021 season, which culminated with an NCAA Tournament berth and a trip to the NCAA Fayetteville Regional, and NJIT's men's and women's fencing teams captured the first NCAA trophy in program history with a fourth-place finish at the 2021 NCAA Fencing Championships.

ROI-NJ recognized two alumni of New Jersey Institute of Technology as “difference makers” in its list of 2021 ROI Influencers: People of Color. The honorees, Elisa Charters and Marjorie Perry, remain connected to NJIT via board service.
