Women's Tennis Dominates Binghamton, 7-0
The NJIT women's tennis team picked up its third straight victory with a dominant 7-0 shutout against Binghamton Saturday afternoon at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
The win - NJIT's first of the spring and second of the year after shutting out Southeastern Louisiana in November - was the team's most decisive victory of the season. The Highlanders won each flight in straight sets and kept Binghamton from winning more than two games in any set the entire match.
The three-game winning streak is also the program's longest since the Highlanders won four straight games in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
NEXT UP
NJIT will look to match that 2020 win streak in their next matchup on Wednesday, February 23 on the road against Columbia at 4 p.m.
