Associate Professor Stephan Kudyba teaches business analytics and management information systems in NJIT's Martin Tuchman School of Management. He recently published an article, "COVID-19 and the Acceleration of Digital Transformation and the Future of Work" in Information Systems Management. Following are his additional comments for the NJIT community, lightly edited.

Q. How do you define digital transformation?

NJIT’s online MBA program continues to earn national accolades. 

After being recognized as one of the Best Online MBA Programs by U.S. News and World Report, NJIT’s online MBA in management information systems has been ranked No. 1 by Master’s Programs Guide.

A room in the university library is being rebuilt as the Leir Business Data Observatory, providing a dedicated high-tech space for graduate students and faculty from Martin Tuchman School of Management to collaboratively study data science as it pertains to business and finance.

Students in a new NJIT course that delivers the experience of planning a business on campus appreciate the latitude that instructors give them to make decisions.

Ranked at No. 43, the university offers a unique entrepreneurial experience.

NJIT’s inaugural inductees into its new Colton Society represent an array of disciplines, including engineering, architecture, finance, education and technology. Each, however, shares something remarkable in common: lifetime contributions to the university that exceed half a million dollars.

NJIT has activated a prototype mobile medical care unit as a COVID-19 testing center for students, faculty and staff. 

NJIT's Martin Tuchman School of Management will offer a new major next fall, a Bachelor of Science in Financial Technology, inspired by the pressing need of corporations on Wall Street and beyond to hire a new generation of workers who are skilled in the latest trends of applying computing to commerce.

Albert Dorman Honors College welcomed more than 70 additional students this year as part of a new program called Dean's Scholars, designed to allow for a more robust honors education across campus.

The program admits scholars from the College of Science and Liberal Arts, Hillier College of Architecture and Design, Martin Tuchman School of Management, Newark College of Engineering and Ying Wu College of Computing each year who desire the rigor of an honors education within their academic discipline.
