Strategic Planning Update
Dear Highlanders,
As I mentioned at the inauguration, Phase One of our strategic plan’s evolution has been completed. I would like to thank the Steering Committee and subcommittees as I share their results with you, which will be further refined over the summer. As you will see, the evolved Mission, Vision, Strategic Priorities, and Objectives set ambitious goals that will guide NJIT into the next decade.
I also would like to express my gratitude to all Highlanders who shared their ideas and aspirations for our university. Your input and feedback were instrumental in creating the priorities and objectives that will continue NJIT’s remarkable trajectory.
We soon will be embarking on Phase Two of the evolution of our strategic plan. In this next phase, I will be asking leaders across campus to work together on developing implementation tactics and setting measurable metrics for the strategic plan. The community, including existing and new committee members, will be invited to collaborate on Phase Two, and I count on your continued support throughout
this next critical step.
