President's Council Launches 'Be More in NJ' Campaign
New Jersey university president’s, the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, and business and industry have come together in a joint effort to promote higher education in the state through the Learn More, Earn More, Be More in New Jersey campaign.
World-class colleges and universities in New Jersey offer limitless possibilities to students, as the state was ranked the “smartest” in a recent study that centers on Census data, with four universities breaking the top 100 in US News & World Report’s 2020 Best College rankings, including NJIT.
The campaign also promotes affordability and the professional pipeline higher education institutions offer in the state, with graduates earning more than their peers nationwide. This is especially evident at NJIT, ranked a top school with the best ROI, and where graduates are in the top 2% nationwide in mid-career salary.
Graduates of New Jersey institutions are immediately exposed to one of the biggest business hubs in the world. New Jersey is home to 20 Fortune 500 companies, 12 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies, and touts robust opportunities in vibrant industries including life sciences, logistics, manufacturing, technology, clean energy, and health care.
