NJIT's Online MBA Program Ranked 26th in Nation
BestColleges.com has ranked NJIT’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program among the best in the country. At No. 26, NJIT joins only one other New Jersey higher-education institution cited in the Top 50.
According to BestColleges.com, the MBA “is one of the most highly sought-after graduate degrees in the country” and “a growing number of students are choosing to enroll in online MBA programs” as a “convenient, cost-effective alternative” to the traditional track. Additionally, a recent report from the Graduate Management Admission Council states: “Twenty percent of online MBA programs expected an increase in the number of students receiving employer sponsorship — the greatest percentage by program type.”
“Our online MBA program is designed to prepare motivated, tech-savvy management professionals with the business expertise and technical knowledge vital for success in today’s rapidly evolving global business landscape,” said Reggie Caudill, dean of NJIT’s Martin Tuchman School of Management. “I congratulate Associate Dean for Academics Cheickna Sylla for his outstanding leadership of the program, as well as our faculty and staff. Also, I am pleased to recognize our partners at Pearson Embanet for their assistance in helping to establish and grow our online MBA program.”
At NJIT, 37 percent of MBA students are enrolled online. The 16-course, 48-credit, tech-driven curriculum is delivered over eight 15-week semesters and provides three specializations: management information systems, marketing and finance.
All schools for the online MBA ranking are accredited, public or private, not-for-profit institutions. BestColleges.com looked at academic quality, affordability and online programming, and based the ranking on the most recent data compiled from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College Navigator, both hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics.
