Here you will find a weekly listing of updates and announcements for members of the NJIT campus community. Requesting Maintenance or Repair Services — Office of Facilities Services (Formerly Physical Plant)
All requests should be submitted through the web-based system Maintenance Direct by School Dude using your NJIT Highlander Pipeline username (UCID) and password. For urgent matters (e.g. no heat, electric, gas, water; flood or overflow; extreme low or high room temperatures) please contact our Service Desk at 973-596-6200 (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) or Public Safety at 973-596-3111 after normal work hours. Depending on work complexity and conditions, repair requests will be prioritized and executed as soon as resources are available — scheduling may take up to 30 days. Weston Hall Facade Restoration Work — Department of Campus Planning, Design & Construction
Please be advised that the facade restoration work at Weston Hall will be starting on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. As a result of the upcoming restoration work activities, sidewalk sheds will be installed at the work areas for pedestrian protection. Please see the linked logistics plan for your reference if you need to navigate around this construction area. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation as we work to improve the campus.
