Message from President Bloom regarding Ukraine

Dear NJIT Community Members,

We have watched today, in sadness and horror, the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. This invasion has claimed the lives of many Ukrainian citizens and raised tensions throughout Europe and around the world. Ukraine is a representative democratic republic whose people are being viciously attacked and killed by the autocratic Russian leaders. Free nations must apply every sanction possible against Russia. People from across the world must protest these violent acts by the Russian demagogues and military. Our thoughts and tears will remain with the people of Ukraine as they continue to suffer and fight this bloody incursion. We must act peacefully and do all we can to help the Ukranians remain a democratic republic and to oppose these brutalities.
