College Factual, a leading source of higher education analytics and insights, has ranked NJIT in the top 10 percent nationwide in overall “Best Institution for Veterans” for 2019. NJIT is ranked 154 out of 1,820 institutions.
The “Best College for Veterans” category looks at 24 different factors to generate their score, including: veteran affordability, veteran population, veteran policies, veteran resources, veteran satisfaction and overall college quality.
The 2019 ranking signifies that NJIT is dedicated to providing “quality educational outcomes to veterans, active-duty military students and their families.” For the third straight year, College Factual ranks NJIT as No. 1 in the nation for computer information systems programs and civil engineering programs for veterans.
“NJIT continues to strongly support student and active-duty veterans, as well as students who serve in the National Guard and Reserves and veteran dependents, as they pursue STEM degrees and careers,” said Lynn Pawlowski, manager of military and veteran students and graduation processes at NJIT. “Veterans are able to leverage their past experiences in the military with a top-notch education at the university, which enables them to successfully begin and thrive in the next stage of their lives.”
