The NJIT women's soccer team tied the school-record for wins, earning its ninth win, a 4-0 shutout victory at Jacksonville Sunday afternoon in ASUN Conference action at Southern Oaks Stadium.
NJIT, which has won the last three consecutive matches and last five-out-of-six, improves to 9-3-1 and 3-1 in the ASUN while the Dolphins drop to 1-10-1 overall and 1-2 in conference play
The nine overall wins and seven shutouts thus far in 2018 tie the school record, which was set in 2017 under head coach Ally Nick.
Nick had a few words after the match, "Today was a great team win. A shutout and four goals on the road is a great accomplishment for our program. I couldn't be more proud of the focus the girls had going into this weekend. This is a special group."
