As the NJIT men's lacrosse team enters the America East portion of it's schedule, a look back at its historic 7-0 non-conference slate is in order.
During their unbeaten start to the 2024 season, NJIT has:
- More than doubled its program record for wins in a season (previously three, set last season)
- Defeated teams from four different conferences (Big East, ASUN, CAA, MAAC)
- Overtaken the longest win streak in the nation (eight-straight victories, including the 2023 finale)
- Received votes in the Inside Lacrosse and USILA Top 20 polls for three-consecutive weeks
- Placed a Highlander (grad transfer Hank Bethel) on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List - the highest honor in collegiate lacrosse And much more!
