Sebastian Robinson Earns Second-Straight America East Rookie of the Week Honor

NJIT freshman Sebastian Robinson was named the America East Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the second-week in a row, the conference announced on Monday.

Robinson averaged 18.0 ppg and 3.5 apg in a week where the Highlanders split a pair of games against Delaware State and Wagner.

The Montclair, NJ, native led the Highlanders to their first win of the season and the first win of Grant Billmeier's tenure as head coach, scoring 25 points and dishing out five assists. 

Robinson followed it up with an 11-point performance in a loss at Wagner on Saturday.

Last week, Robinson earned the first weekly honor of his career following a 17-point, six-assist performance at American.

Robinson and the Highlanders return to action on Wednesday when they travel to George Mason. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. in Fairfax, MD.
