Roubalio Earns Bid to the 2025 NCAA Fencing Championships

Niels Roubailo has earned a bid to the 2025 NCAA Fencing Championships announced by the organization on Tuesday.
His selection was an at-large bid after finishing ninth out of 47 fencers in the men's epee competition at the 2025 NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional on March 8.

Roubailo, who hails from Walchwil, Switzerland, combined for a 67-25 season record with a 72.83 winning percentage. Roubailo, a member of the NJIT men's epee squad was crowned MACFA Conference Epee Team Champions.
The 2025 NCAA Fencing Championships will be from March 20-23 and held at the Multi-Sport Facility in University Park, PA on the campus of Penn State.
The National Collegiate Men's and Women's Fencing Championships include individual events in each of six weapons (men's épée, men's foil, men's sabre, women's épée, women's foil and women's sabre).
Fencers will compete in a round-robin format of five-touch bouts. After round robin, the top-four finishers in each weapon will fence in semifinal 15-touch bouts, with winners fencing to determine first and second places, and non-advancing fencers being awarded a tie for third place.
The men will kick off the championship with round-robin bouts on Thursday, March 20 followed by semifinals and finals on Friday, March 21.
