Women's Tennis Shuts Out Quinnipiac At Home
The NJIT women's tennis team returned to the win column with a 7-0 shutout victory over the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sunday afternoon at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
The 7-0 win was the Highlanders' second in their last four games and improved NJIT's home record to 3-1 on the season.
NJIT was led by Amira Badawi and Advaita Saravanan, who allowed the fewest points across their singles and doubles matches. Badawi won her No. 3 flight, 6-2, 6-1 and paired with Saravanan to shut out their opponents at No. 2 doubles, 6-0. Saravanan also won in straight sets at No. 6, 6-1, 6-4.

NJIT will begin a stretch of four straight road games with a trip to Philadelphia to face Drexel on Friday, March 11.
