Freshman guard Lyzi Litwinko has been selected America East Conference Rookie of the Week the league office announced on Monday.

In a 1-1 week for the Highlanders, Litwinko averaged 6.5 points-per-game and 5.0 rebounds-per-game in two conference games, making 50% of her three-point shots.

She scored 11 points, notching four rebounds and three assists in NJIT's first America East Conference game – a 78-57 win over New Hampshire.

On Sunday against the Wildcats, the 5-foot-8 guard, led the Highlanders on the boards with six.
