Martin Tuchman School of Management Professors Are "Ones to Know"

Two faculty members from NJIT’s Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM) — Associate Professor of Finance Michael Ehrlich and Professor of Marketing Rajiv Mehta — have been honored as “professors to know” by BSchools.org, an online resource for individuals interested in pursuing an MBA. More specifically, the platform “provides a comprehensive look at online MBA programs and related programmatic alternatives, and features detailed program and professor profiles, career guides, and blog posts of interest to potential MBA students.”

Ehrlich was cited as a “Professor to Know in Online MBA Programs With Finance and Financial Services Specializations.” Before joining NJIT, he spent 15 years on Wall Street at several notable investment banks in a variety of capacities, from trader and trading desk manager to arbitrage trader and senior managing director. At MTSM, he focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship, the commercialization of technology, financial markets and institutions, and market failures. He also serves as co-director of the New Jersey Innovation Acceleration Center and associate director of the Leir Center for Financial Bubble Research.

“While it is an honor to be recognized, I note that this is really a recognition of the achievements of all of my colleagues in Martin Tuchman School of Management and our online MBA program,” Ehrlich said, adding, “Our online MBA students come from varied backgrounds, but all show the dedication to learn and invest in themselves that will make them valuable employees and promising entrepreneurs.”

Mehta, named a “Professor to Know in Online MBA in Marketing Programs,” teaches global marketing, sales management, marketing channels, personal selling and principles of marketing at the Executive MBA, MBA and undergraduate levels. He has been widely published in many well-known peer-reviewed research journals and co-authored college textbooks. Additionally, he is a recipient of several teaching awards from NJIT, including the Martin Tuchman School of Management Award for Excellence in Innovative Teaching for 2018.
