Leading Women Entrepreneurs Honors Gale Tenen Spak

Gale Tenen Spak, associate vice president of Continuing and Distance Education at NJIT, has been named one of the Top 25 Leading Women Intraprenuers by Leading Women Entrepreneurs and its presenting sponsor. Spak and the other honorees were feted at a special awards reception and ceremony on Oct. 15.
Leading Women Entrepreneurs, a media and events company that recognizes outstanding women business owners and corporate leaders, aims to create a sustainable, ongoing environment that brings leaders together and showcases their attributes and contributions. In addition to Spak and NJIT, the yearly ceremony featured high-profile business and women leaders from organizations such as AllState, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ, Johnson & Johnson, BASF Corporation and more.
"It is with great humility and pride that I accept this award presented on the eve of my retirement from NJIT for my work up-skilling women, in particular, so that as every organization becomes a digital enterprise," said Spak. "It is women who have the wherewithal to assume crucial IT decision-making roles in the C-Suite and in the Board room."
