NJIT’s spring career fair is right around the corner and registration is now open for students on the Handshake platform.
Career Development Services biannual career fair has become one of the most anticipated events for students. The fall semester fair, held last September, was the largest-ever participation: 3,300 students and alumni and 240 companies packed into the WEC and Naimoli Center. The spring fair, now scheduled for March 4 from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., is shaping up to be another packed house.
Students are encouraged to register now for the upcoming fair and for pre-fair events to help prepare. Registering for the event will give students access to an employer list with details of the available positions and a floor map to help make the most out of their time at the fair.
CDS Fast Pass is also making a return. By earning a Fast Pass badge, students can enter early at 11 a.m., skip the day-of check-in line and have priority access to employers. Badges can be earned by attending one of the CDS events below:
- On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) Prep /w Verizon (Jan. 19)
- On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) Prep (Jan. 24)
- CDS Academy: Resumes and ATS (Jan. 30)
- Career Fair Dos and Don'ts: Employer Edition (Jan. 31)
- Co-Op Info Session (Feb. 2)
- Resume Day (Feb. 6)
- Career Fair Dos and Don'ts (Young Alumni) (Feb. 7)
Students are strongly encouraged to register immediately for the best chance to review the employer list and make a game plan.
