Lim, NJIT’s first president of color, is a patent-holding engineer. His career has spanned the private sector as an engineer at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation to academia starting out as a research assistant at The Ohio State University. He became NJIT’s ninth president last year.
Perry is president and CEO of MZM Construction Co. in Newark, N.J. She was elected chair of the Board of Overseers in 2018, making her the first woman and African American to assume that role; she’s now a chair emerita and continues to serve as an Overseer. Perry earned an MBA from NJIT’s Martin Tuchman School of Management in 2005.
Jones, partner of 1868 Public Affairs, earned an MBA from MTSM in 2000. He served four terms in the New Jersey General Assembly and on the State House Commission.
