Men's Tennis Finishes Season with Regional Ranking, Perez Ramos Ranked Regionally

Highlanders Finished the Season 15-8, While Perez Ramos was 18-3 in Singles Play
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) came out with its annual regional rankings for teams and individuals earlier this month and the NJIT men's tennis team was represented on both lists.
The Highlanders were ranked ninth in the northeast region after posting a 15-8 record this season. Additionally, Pablo Perez Ramos was ranked #13 in the Northeast Regional Rankings.
"The northeast is the largest region in the country and to make the top 10 is a great accomplishments for our team," said Head Coach Marco Matteucci. "Every single player contributed a crucial role in this years success and I am extremely happy for our guys to be recognized for a great year. Pablo had great season and this ranking is the fruit of the hard work and dedication he put in this year. There are some great players in our region and I'm really proud of him for making this list."
Perez Ramos, a redshirt freshman, finished the season with an impressive 18-3 record, which included a straight-set victory over the Southland Conference Player of the Year. The Spain native was also 14-8 in doubles action this season.
