The Department of Athletics has revised the spectator policy for home athletic events for Winter 2022.
All athletic events shall either be held without spectators in attendance or with limited attendance to allow for strict social distancing.
All spectators ages 5 and older, must be fully vaccinated and provide proof upon entry. Masks remain required for all non-participants, in compliance with America East conference, NCAA, and NJIT guidelines.
These policies are effective immediately.
Proof of vaccination will be required for all spectators, in compliance with the City of Newark's Executive Order.
The health and safety of our student-athletes, fans, coaches and staff is our main priority. We will continue to evaluate the situation around the on-going pandemic and will adjust policies as necessary to ensure our commitment to safety.
