NJIT Ranks No. 33 in Best Value, No. 11 in Best Career Placement
New Jersey Institute of Technology has reaffirmed its status as a top 50 Best Value College among public institutions in the U.S., according to The Princeton Review.
Princeton Review ranks NJIT No. 33 in that category (up from No. 39 last year) and No. 11 nationally for Best Career Placement among public institutions.
Those top rankings stem from NJIT’s inclusion in the review’s Best Value Colleges guide for 2022. Just 209 colleges and universities made that alphabetized list.
The guide selections are based on data about academics, affordability and career preparation. This year’s honorees emerged from a field of more than 650 institutions.
NJIT, which has been featured in Best Value Colleges since 2018, takes pride in delivering an affordable education that delivers job opportunities and economic mobility. That focus on outcomes is recognized both nationally and statewide. The Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce ranks the university top 10% for return on investment in the U.S. and #1 among public four-year institutions in N.J.
“NJIT is a leading polytechnic university that is both a research powerhouse and has excelled in the preparation of its students for careers in what is unquestionably a STEM-driven economy,” NJIT President Joel S. Bloom said. “This ranking and others, including our status as the #1 university in the U.S. for student upward economic mobility, speak to the value of an NJIT education and the global impact of our university.”
