NJIT men's soccer head coach Fernando Barboto has announced the Highlanders' 2026 schedule, a 17-match slate featuring 10 home contests at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium and seven road matches.

The 2026 campaign opens at home on August 20 as the Highlanders welcome Siena to Newark. NJIT will play three of its first four matches at home, with the lone road contest during that stretch coming at Saint Joseph's on August 23. The Highlanders return home to host Manhattan on August 27 before welcoming Loyola Maryland on September 1. Siena captured the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship and earned a berth in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

NJIT opens the remainder of its non-conference schedule with a short trip to Rider on September 4 before returning home for back-to-back contests against James Madison on September 7 and FDU on September 12. FDU also advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2025 after winning the Northeast Conference championship and finishing the season with 13 victories.

The Highlanders will visit Brown on September 19 before opening America East Conference action at home against Binghamton on September 26. Three days later, NJIT welcomes Drexel to Newark for its final non-conference home match.

Conference play continues with a road trip to defending America East Tournament champion Vermont on October 3 before the Highlanders return home to face New Hampshire on October 10.

The Highlanders close out non-conference play with a road match in Philadelphia to take on La Salle on October 13 before returning to Newark for Homecoming Weekend, hosting UAlbany on October 17.

The Highlanders will play two of their final three America East regular-season contests on the road, traveling to UMass Lowell on October 24 before closing the regular season at UMBC on November 3.

NJIT's final home match of the regular season is set for October 30 against Bryant.

The 2026 America East Championship begins with quarterfinal-round action on November 7, followed by the semifinals on November 11 and the championship match on November 15.
