NJIT Faculty Featured in 7th Annual STEM for All Video Showcase — College of Science and Liberal Arts
The showcase will feature over 250 innovative projects aimed at improving science, math, engineering and computer science education, which have been funded by the National Science Foundation and other federal agencies. This year’s theme, “COVID, Equity & Social Justice,” addresses broadening participation, impacts of COVID on STEM teaching and learning, design implementation on STEM programs, research informing STEM and computer science teaching and learning, and measuring impact of innovative programs. Professors Bruce Bukiet and James Lipuma of CSLA are featured and present "STEM in Your Home," a look at how the LiFE (Leadership and iSTEAM for Females in Elementary School) project that works with STEM clubs, especially for girls in grades K-6, pivoted when the pandemic hit and changed from in-person programming to developing videos and accompanying activity plans that participants could take part in from home. The event will be held online May 11-18 and presentations can be found at https://stemforall2021.videohall.com/
