New Jersey Institute of Technology's newly-announced Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Enterprise AI will be available to students beginning in fall 2026, with the intention of developing next-level professionals that extends beyond a traditional technical degree.
Offered by NJIT's Ying Wu College of Computing (YWCC) and rooted in the foundations of traditional Information Systems, the B.S. in Enterprise AI is designed to directly address the shortage of tech talent needed to meet the critical demands of the evolving AI-driven industry ecosystem. By transforming the gap between AI innovation and enterprise implementation, the program, one of the few of its kind in the New York metro area, empowers students with the skills to design, develop and deploy next-generation smart information systems.
Beyond integrating core principles of system analysis and data management with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technology, this front-line degree combines deep technical expertise with professional skills and values that allow graduates to create intelligent technologies, automate processes and enhance user experiences.
Students will learn AI-powered web and app development, data systems and enterprise-scale solutions. But they will also sharpen the skills that employers value most: communication, collaboration and leadership. Every semester, students will build portfolio projects — real artifacts they can show employers and present at the AI Product Demo Day so that they can share their work with industry partners, family and other students. This is a degree built for job security and growth. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects AI-related roles to grow at double-digit rates for the next decade. Students will graduate with more than knowledge — they’ll graduate with a career edge.
Graduates of the B.S. in Enterprise AI will be prepared to:
