NJIT registered its first ASUN Conference win of the season with a 2-0 shutout victory over visiting Stetson Saturday evening in league action at Kean University East Campus Facility.
NJIT moves to 1-3-0 in the ASUN, 6-7 overall, snapping a six-match skid, while Stetson stands at 0-2-1 in the ASUN, 5-7-1 overall.
The Highlanders scored both goals in the second half to secure the 2-0 victory.
Redshirt sophomore Rene White scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season and ranks tied for first in the ASUN in total goals.
