Men's swimming & diving had previously been a part of the program's men's at-large team until the 2022-23 season.
Horstkamp-Vinekar joins the rest of the history-making student-athletes from across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as a member of the Division I Third Team.
The native of Cumberland, R.I. was also named the America East Elite 18 award winner for men's swimming & diving as the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing at the final site of one of the conference's 18 team championships.
The junior Chemical Engineering major currently boasts a 4.00 cumulative GPA and brought his program-leading America East Championships career medal count to 16 (5 G, 6 S, 5 B) with four at the 2023 championship meet. Horstkamp-Vinekar claimed two silvers (100 Back, 200 Fly) and two bronzes (800 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay) at the 2023 Championships.
Horstkamp-Vinekar is the only America East swimming & diving student-athlete to be represented on any of the Division I Academic All-America® teams.
