Grant Billmeier Introductory Press Conference Set for April 20 at Noon

The NJIT Department of Athletics has announced it will officially introduce new men's basketball head coach Grant Billmeier to the media and Highlander Nation on Thursday, April 20, at noon.

The event will be held on campus in the Wellness and Events Center and will also be streamed on ESPN+ for those that cannot attend in person. Those attending are asked to enter the facility through the entrance located on the northeast corner of Warren and Lock Streets in Newark. 

Billmeier, a New Jersey native who brings a wealth of experience to NJIT, was announced as the 12th men's basketball coach in program history last week. This past season, the Seton Hall graduate helped lead Maryland to the NCAA Tournament where the Terrapins earned advanced to the second round and also coached at his alma for 11 seasons over two stints.
