The NJIT swimming and diving team placed second with 1,599 points at the ECAC Championships this weekend at the Nassau County Aquatic Center.
 
The Highlanders clinched 18 spots in the finals, including five A-finalists, five B-finalists, and eight C-finalists.
 
Borys Endle won the 200 breast with a school record time of 1:56.90. Bartosz Bryg finished seventh with a time of 2:06.65.
 
Andrew Cellar won the 200 back with a time of 1:46.10, Michael McGillycuddy placed seventh in 1:57.48.
 
Endle and Cellar earned ECAC titles for the first time in their careers.
 
Yonatan Ahdut earned a silver medal in the 1,650 free with a time of 15:29.90. Three other Highlanders finished in the top 10, including Pawel Drzymala (6th / 16:05.73), Keegan Wooding (8th / 16:17.16), and Oxford Bayley (9th / 16:29.87).
 
Drzymala posted a 200 fly time of 1:52.47 to finish fourth, while Ahdut placed eighth (1:56.73).
