Martin Tuchman School of Management Ph.D. student Weizhi Chen
Weizhi Chen, a third-year Ph.D. student in Business Data Science at NJIT’s Martin Tuchman School of Management, has recently been published in two premier academic journals. She has been working with her adviser, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship Haisu Zhang, on research projects concerning marketing analytics and product innovation. Their first research paper, “Crowdfunding Technological Innovations: Interaction between Consumer Benefits and Rewards,” was published in Technovation (Impact Factor=4.802). Their other research paper, “Backer Motivation in Crowdfunding New Product Ideas: Is It about You or Is It about Me?,” has been recently accepted by the Journal of Product Innovation Management (Impact Factor=4.305). Both journals are recognized for their high rankings, impact factors and standards in the innovation domain.
The Ph.D. in Business Data Science program at Martin Tuchman School of Management educates students in how to apply data science techniques to business disciplines.
