Micro CT Scan Image of Bloom with Color added in Photoshop
The work of Mathew Schwartz, assistant professor at Hillier College is featured in this article and used for the Dezeen Awards 2021 identity. Dezeen is a global and well recognized design magazine, featuring influential architecture and design from around the world.
Schwartz has been perfecting this use of a micro-CT scanner to create images of flowers, computer hardware and other objects small enough to be scanned by this equipment. The black and white images are colorized in photoshop. Click hereto read an article on his work.
