The NJIT men's and women's cross country teams returned to action after a two week layoff to compete at Central Connecticut State's annual Ted Owen Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park.
Both Highlander squads finished in the top ten of the field, taking ninth overall in both races.

OTHER NOTES
- Castano has been consistent to start the season, leading the Highlander women in each of their three races so far. Morena has been NJIT's top performer on the men's side in two of three races (freshman Fabian Herrera led in the other).
