Aidan Kidd Signs Professional Contract with Chicago Dogs

Former NJIT left-handed pitcher Aidan Kidd has signed a professional contract to play with the Chicago Dogs of the American Association of Professional Baseball, an official MLB Partner League.
Kidd, from Laguna Beach, California, appeared in 49 games throughout his four-year collegiate career in a Highlander uniform.
A two-time America East selection and All-Tournament honoree, Kidd led the America East in strikeouts (97) for the second-straight season.
He made 15 starts on the mound and struck out at least seven batters in eight starts, including a career-high 12 in six innings vs. UMass Lowell (3/29)
Kidd went six innings and struck out 10 to lead NJIT to an opening round win over Binghamton at the 2024 America East Tournament.
For his career, Kidd struck out 250 batters, which ranks third in the NJIT Division I records. His 94 strikeouts this season also ranks third in the NJIT DI era.
A two-time America East All-Academic team and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team selection, Kidd graduated from NJIT in May 2024 with a business degree.
