Women's Tennis Sweeps Home Matches Against Southeastern Louisiana & Delaware

The NJIT women's tennis team was dominant in a pair of fall home dual matches on Friday. The Highlanders picked up victories against fellow Southeastern Louisiana (7-0) and Delaware (6-1) at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.

NJIT only conceded one singles flight and one doubles match in the sweep of its first dual match opponents of the 2021-22 campaign. Leading the charge for the Highlanders was senior Joleta Budiman, who secured wins in her four combined singles and doubles matches. In singles, Budiman won both matches in straight sets and only surrendered three points across 27 total games. She also partnered with junior Aya El Sayed to claim both No. 1 doubles flights.
