Dear Highlanders,

I am writing to share that Michael Johnson has announced his resignation as president of NJII to pursue other professional opportunities. Michael will remain in his role for a period of time to help ensure a smooth transition. I want to thank him for his leadership and for all he has done to advance NJII’s mission and strengthen its impact.

NJII has been an important component of the innovation ecosystem at NJIT, and its many strengths provide a strong foundation for the future. I have asked incoming Interim President John Pelesko to work with the Board of Trustees to assess the organization’s leadership needs and appropriate path forward.

Thank you for your continued support of NJIT and NJII. Additional information will be shared as the transition moves forward.

Sincerely,

Teik C. Lim
NJIT President
