Dear Highlanders,
I hope that you all enjoyed a restful and joyous holiday break with loved ones and friends. There was much to celebrate and reflect upon in 2025, and I am happy to share with you this year in review video .
Now it is time to turn our focus forward, so that we may begin the spring semester with purpose and vigor, and assure that 2026 is another year filled with aspiration, innovation, and success at NJIT.
As we start this new semester, we begin by celebrating the life of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who devoted his life to advocating for equality and uplifting others. His legacy of peaceful but powerful protest and commitment to justice for all is inspiring, and we all should re-commit ourselves to the ideals that he strived to advance. In doing so, I encourage each of you to consider participating in our annual MLK Day of Service . By embracing the lessons taught by Dr. King and applying them to what we do each day, we can positively affect our community and our world.
