The NJIT men's soccer team has been selected to finish in fifth place in the ASUN after the league announced its 2017 Preseason Coaches' Poll and All-Conference teams Wednesday afternoon.

The Highlanders combined for 22 points, above Stetson (18 points, sixth place) and USC Upstate (eight points, seventh place).

Coming off one of the most successful seasons in the Division I era, NJIT reached eight wins, marking the second-highest win total since competing as an NCAA Division I program.
