Business Publication Highlights Influential Leaders and Academic Innovation at NJIT
Business publication ROI-NJ features three leaders from New Jersey Institute of Technology in its 2024 lists of influencers in higher education.
President Teik C. Lim made the Top 10 list and Provost John Pelesko and Chief Government and Community Relations Officer Angela Garretson are listed as Deans, Directors and Key Officials.

NJIT’s Tech MBA program is designed to make each of its students ready and adaptable in the ever-changing landscape of business and covers technology-driven topics like artificial intelligence, Big Data, fintech and more. Its most recent bachelor’s degree program concentration, sports data analytics, prepares students to enter the nearly $4 billion global industry that is set to grow to $12 billion by 2030.

At NJIT, our technology-focused curriculum integrates real-world expertise from faculty and industry leaders. Centers like Leir Research Institute that foster sustainable economic development also foster collaboration between academia and business. NJIT has also expanded engagement with expert panels, like hosting a “smart cities” conference, uniting engineers, computer scientists and business professionals to tackle industry challenges.
