Best Places to Work in New Jersey Survey

Dear Faculty and Staff,
Next week, we will launch a critical component of the university’s strategic initiative to build NJIT’s reputation as a great place to work: a comprehensive employee satisfaction and engagement assessment by faculty and staff. I ask that you mark your calendars for May 14, when you will receive an electronic survey that should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete.
Your feedback will provide the comprehensive data needed to measure our efforts to improve the faculty and staff experience going forward. The survey will be anonymous and will be conducted by an independent third party, Best Companies Group. You will have two weeks to complete the survey.
Best Companies Group will provide us with the anonymous survey results in July or August of this year, and we will share them with the campus community. These findings will guide the university’s creation of a data-driven action plan for how we will work together to further develop a workplace that best serves the needs of NJIT’s students, faculty and staff.
It is an ambitious effort that will work best if all of us participate. Thank you in advance for your involvement in this critical effort, and please refer to these related FAQs if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
NJIT President Joel S. Bloom
and
Vice President for Human Resources Dale A. McLeod
